Raaxhá Hydroelectric Plant
Hydroelectric project that uses the waters of the Ichbolay River. It is a very low head project with a powerhouse and bottom discharge on the bed of the river, a weir dam of 300 m of length in the left margin, and a fill dam of 65 m of length in the right margin . The gross head is 6.5 m and the installed capacity of 5 MW.
The powerhouse acts as a dam, intake, and bottom outlet, all on the same structure.
CARBON Engineering was hired by Energy Resources to design the powerhouse-bottom outlet set and for the review of the detailed engineering of the dams.
