LA GLORIA hydraulic plant
This hydroelectric project utilizes water from the Bejucal river through diversion headworks with a concrete dam, with degraveler and desander. The water is conducted through a low pressure, reinforced concrete pipe to a headpond, where the pressure pipeline begins, with a gross head of 197.5 m. The powerhouse features two Francis units.
A reinforced concrete “box” pipeline used in conduction.
CARBON Engineering was hired by ENETRAN S.A. for the elaboration of final design and construction plans for all the civil works of the project, including the floodgates.
