ZINGUIZAPA hydroelectric plant
This hydroelectric project uses water from the Zinguizapa river, through diversion works with a concrete dam, bottom discharge and lateral intake structures with a sandtrap. The water is then conducted through a low pressure pipe conducing to a headpond where the pressure line starts for a gross head of 305 m. Powerhouse hosts a two-jet Pelton turbine.
